The Prague Old Town is one of five districts in the city that should not be missed.  It is located on the east side of the Vltava River, directly across from Prague's "Little Quarter".

The Jewish Quarter (Josefov District) is located north of the Old Town while Prague's New Town is directly south.

The Old Town is home to two attractive palaces and many beautiful buildings, historic streets, city squares and museums.

The two palaces are Kinsky Palace and Clam-Gallas Palace.  Famous city squares in this district of Prague are the following:

  • Knights of Cross Square (views across river)

Religious institutions in Prague's Old Town include:
