Prague New Town

The New Town District of Prague is located on the eastern side of the Vltava River, directly south of the Old Town.

The community was built around three historic market places: the Horse Market (Wenceslas Square), the Cattle Market (Charles Square) and the Hay Market (Senovazne Square).  The town was established in 1348.

Prague's New Town is home to museums, theatres, city squares and many beautiful buildings.
